Effective date: November 4, 2026
1. Introduction
Synership respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use our website and software platform. Synership is operated from Manitoba, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy law.

3. How We Use Information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide workspace functionality, manage teams and permissions, maintain activity records, send account and notification emails, process payments, support users, investigate security concerns, and operate and improve Synership.
4. Company and Employee Information
Organizations using Synership may submit information about employees and other team members. Authorized organization administrators may manage this information according to their assigned permissions. Organizations are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis or authority to submit personal information to the service.
5. Who Can See Your Information
Information in a workspace is visible to other members according to the roles and permissions set by the organization. For example, project messages and attachments are visible to the people on that project and to those whose permissions allow it.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Service Providers and Where Data Is Stored
Synership uses Supabase for backend services, including authentication, our database, and file storage. Our primary database and file storage are hosted in Canada (Canada Central region).
We also use Stripe to process payments, Google Workspace for our support email, an email delivery provider to send account and notification emails, and hosting providers to run the website and app. Some of these providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We will update this section as we add or change providers.
7. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as reasonably necessary for service operations and applicable legal obligations.
You can delete your own account in Account Management inside the app, or email info@synership.ca to request deletion. When an account is deleted, we delete the personal information tied to it, such as your profile and notifications. If you own a company workspace, the workspace and its content may be deleted too. Some content you added to a workspace you do not own, such as messages and files, may remain with that organization. Copies may remain in backups for a limited period.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw your consent. Email info@synership.ca and we will respond within 30 days where possible. Certain requests involving organization-managed data may need to be directed to the relevant organization.
10. Cookies and Authentication
Synership uses cookies or similar browser storage technologies for authentication, session management, and essential platform functionality. If we introduce analytics or tracking technologies, we will update this policy.
11. Children
Synership is for business use and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our services and practices evolve. Updates will be published on this page with a new effective date, and additional notice will be provided where required.
