Terms of Service
Effective date: November 4, 2026
1. Who We Are and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Synership website and software platform (the "service"), operated from Manitoba, Canada by Synership ("Synership", "we", "us").
By accessing or using Synership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Synership provides software tools for managing teams, employees, projects and checklists, company applications, permissions, messages, file attachments, and related organizational activities. Features may change as the platform develops.
Synership lets you save links to third-party applications. We do not operate those applications, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
3. Eligibility
Synership is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old, and if you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activities conducted through your account.
If you create or manage a company workspace, you are responsible for the people you add, the roles and permissions you give them, and for having the authority to manage the information you upload or share through the platform.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Synership to violate applicable laws, access information without authorization, interfere with the service, distribute malicious software, or compromise other users' accounts or data.
You may not upload or link to content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware. Files and links you attach are visible to other people according to the permissions set in your workspace and project.
6. Subscription Plans and Billing
Synership offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with different usage limits (such as the number of companies and employees). Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and applicable taxes may be added.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. If we offer other billing periods in the future, these Terms will be updated.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, you keep your paid features until then, and you will not be charged again. If your organization is over the limits of a plan after a downgrade or cancellation, we may restrict adding new members or projects until it is within those limits.
Refunds are not automatic. You may request a refund by emailing info@synership.ca and explaining the reason. We review each request individually and may approve a full or partial refund at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
We may change our prices or plan limits. We will give you notice before a change applies to your subscription.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information you submit to Synership, including projects, checklist steps, messages, notes, links and uploaded files.
You grant Synership permission to store, process and display that information as necessary to provide and maintain the service, subject to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit. We do not review it in advance.
8. Account Deletion and Your Data
You can delete your own account in Account Management inside the app. Deleting your account ends your access to the service and removes your profile, notifications and project memberships.
If you are the owner of a company workspace, deleting your account may permanently delete that workspace and the information in it, for everyone who uses it. Some content you added to a workspace you do not own, such as messages or files, may remain with that organization. You can also email info@synership.ca to request deletion.
9. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, technical issues, and service updates may occasionally affect access.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to address security risks, violations of these Terms, or unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, Synership is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized account use, service interruptions, content submitted by users, third-party applications, or misuse of the platform.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of Manitoba, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer or privacy law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or inside the app, as required by applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.
